
Meet the founder.
James has deep real estate investment experience, having worked across a variety of complex operating asset classes including hospitality, luxury residential development, retail, office, and sports sectors. Most recently, James is the co-sponsor of Pacific 19 Hotels, together with Thibert Lussiaa, where he led the acquisition, renovation, and rebranding of the project.
Previously, James was Vice President at Kennedy Wilson (NYSE: KW). James asset managed the firm's $750 million US retail portfolio and notable resort developments such as the Kona Village Resort and private member’s club Kohanaiki in Hawaii.
Earlier he led the fund management group's investment analytics team. During his tenure at KW, James was recognized as a rising star in real estate, featured in Real Estate Forum Magazine’s annual 40 under 40 list.
Prior to Kennedy Wilson, James led investments and operations at the Colombia-based Charlee Hotel brand, named one of the top new hotels in the world by Condé Nast Traveler.
James has held several executive advisory positions including with the Kelly Slater Wave Co. where he helped develop its multi-property operating platform and CCA Acquisition Company, a national retail investor, where he consulted on strategic investments. James began his career as an acquisitions analyst at ColRich, focusing on multifamily investments. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Planning from UC San Diego, where he graduated with honors.
